1974 King Seiko VANAC 5626-7180 Box & Papers

With the 2025 reintroduction of the King Seiko VANAC line, attention has turned to the originals from the ’70s. The VANAC line was known for bold colors and heavy faceting across the case, bracelet, and most notably, the crystal. This example is among the most desirable, featuring an octagonal faceted crystal, a green textured dial, and gold accents.

Condition is strong for its age. The case and bracelet show no major dings and appear unpolished, retaining their original finishing. The gold-plated bezel has a few small dents from wear but no major plating loss. The crystal is unpolished, with only one notable scratch above the Seiko logo. The watch was recently serviced, and the fragile plastic quickset wheel was replaced with a durable metal aftermarket version.
