Inspired by the enduring symbolism of the koi fish, The Eternal Koi explores the harmony between movement, balance, and the passage of time. At the center of the composition, two koi glide through hand-engraved waves, their forms joined through their tails to create a continuous circle — drawing from the philosophy of Yin and Yang. Pure silver and gold inlays form the flowing waves on a hand-engraved spring steel surface. The koi themselves are sculpted from silver, with individual scales highlighted in pure yellow gold and copper. The entire surface is matted by hand using an exceptionally fine abrasive finish. Completing the composition is a set of traditionally heat-blued steel hands, finished by hand.
