Chronosport Evo

The Chronosport is a modern interpretation of the classic bi-compax chronograph, developed by Lesablier. Its design draws inspiration from 1970s integrated-bracelet sports watches, combined with the motorsport heritage of the chronograph complication.

Rather than following the traditionally utilitarian approach of bi-compax chronographs, the Chronosport emphasizes complexity in both construction and finishing. The case integrates multiple textures, finishes, and design elements, creating a more layered and distinctive aesthetic than typically seen in the category.

Case Finishing

The case showcases a wide range of alternating finishes. The bezel features a radial brushed finish, contrasted by high-polished scalloped surrounds. Hooded lugs are vertically brushed with polished triangular center accents. The crown is knurled, with a polished and frosted relief hourglass motif on the cap, while the pushers combine brushed collars with polished and frosted tops. Brushed crown guards are secured with polished screws, further adding to the visual depth. The result is a highly detailed case architecture that sets the Chronosport apart within its segment.

Dial Construction

The dial is equally intricate, built across three distinct layers: a base dial, recessed subdials, and a raised rehaut tachymeter ring. Many variants incorporate polished, raised hardware accents along with faceted applied indices filled with BGW9 Swiss Super-LumiNova, enhancing both legibility and depth.

Each Chronosport is individually numbered on the dial, with production limited to 50 pieces per color. Every watch carries a unique serial, ensuring no two examples are identical.
