Ming 27.01 ULTRA THIN Box and Papers 2022

The MING 27.01 Ultra Thin marked a new step for the brand. It was the first watch Ming designed using 3D CAD, introducing their second design language, which emphasized cleaner lines, open lugs, and a more architectural case profile. The 27.01 also calls back to 2017, drawing inspiration from the 17.01, Ming’s first watch release. Powered by a hand-wound, heavily modified ETA/Peseux 7001 movement, the 27.01 measures only 6.9 mm thin and 38 mm in diameter, allowing it to hug the wrist comfortably. Produced in a limited run of 125 pieces, the 27.01 set the tone for Ming’s design philosophy that continues to define the brand today.
